Pure relaxation… in Spain

As you know time off for us is very rare, especially during the glamping season, but we’ve just returned from a few days away, glamping in Andalucía. Lucky for us we had a spare weekend and this was all we needed as an excuse to get away for a days to get some sunshine. We obviously like to know what glamping locations there are around Europe, so we contacted Casa de Laila which is set in the beautiful Guadalhorce Valley in Andalucia, Spain. We were so happy to hear that they had some availability in their own bell tents, so we booked our flights and away we went.

To cut to the chase, this was one of the most relaxing and intimate holidays we have had in years. The tents are set among the orange grove that cascade down the hillside, allowing you a little respite from the searing heat of the sun. You could even relax in your very own hammock. What really impressed us was the views over the valley with the mountain range of de Sierra de las Nieves on the horizon.

I could write quite a blog on this brilliant location, but I think you’d probably prefer to see some of our holiday snaps instead.
