Our new sites

Hello again, long time no speak.
Since the last blog post, things at Glampit have moved on a little. We spent the off season researching a new side to the business, our permanent site offering. Of which at the time of publishing this post, we have two. One in Suffolk and one just south of York. These sites have allowed us to enhance our offering and hopefully up the ante of the guest experience.
The inspiration once again comes from traditional Indian homes and the rustic colours of our fair trade furnishings.

If the summer sun has got you dreaming of sunny coasts, seaside towns or picturesque villages then head on down to Suffolk and stay in one of our Bell Tents at The Hollies in Kessingland and make it your base for exploring the nearby towns and villages. Historic Bury St Edmunds, the forest town of Brandon, Thetford Forest and The Brecks, or Southwold, Aldeburgh, Orford, and Felixstowe.

Our site at Deighton Lodge is tucked away in three acres of private farmland in Yorkshire’s countryside. Deighton Lodge is just 4 miles south of York city centre. The converted farm house is situated only 2 minutes from York Designer Outlet and York Park & Ride.

York is a city of incredible contrasts and exciting discoveries. It’s where old meets new, everyday meets the unexpected and grand architecture meets revered ruins. From the moment you enter the city walls, you’ll be captivated by the sight of museums, country houses and delightfully unique shops that greet you at every twisty turn.
